In support of the premier of the documentary, Chasing Trane: The John Coltrane Story, John Ambrosini plays selections from Coltrane’s catalog of work. Ticket holders for the film are invited to a special reception and short tour of The Coltrane Home, including live performances by John Ambrosini and guests, Michael Amendola, Napolean Revels-Bey, Premik Tubbs, Steve Finkelstein, Dominic Duval Jr, and Micah Stein. Partial proceeds from the film will go to support the mission for The Coltrane Home.

The Coltrane Home, where John, Alice and their young family spent his last years, is featured prominently in Chasing Trane. The home, located in Dix Hills, in the heart of Long Island is now at the center of a campaign to restore it to its former state and bring it back to life as as a museum and cultural center.
